Our client a leading construction company in Dubai is looking out to
hire candidates for the below two positions.



1) SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER

The major responsibilities are:

Review project milestones, contract requirements and prepare project
schedules based on the planned milestones
Review, identify and advise project manpower, equipment and other
resource requirements
Prepare and ensure master program of works / critical milestones are
achieved, ensuring effective planning and monitoring of site progress
Coordinating Client for revision of construction schedule / recovery
schedule for slippage as necessary
Develop programs and identify resource requirements of manpower and
equipment and materials
Coordinate with Commercial Director, Division Manager / Project Manager
for construction schedule, resource requirements, procurement and
subcontractor to finalize planning requirements and coordination between
different activities.
2) SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER

Candidate will be based full time in Commercial Office and is
responsible for the control of the technical activities for new projects. Should
report directly to the Commercial Director and is responsible for all
the initialization of the projects with the Project team.



Major roles:

Ensure all work activities are in conformance with contract
requirements, drawings, specifications and method statements.
Ensure specifications and drawings are reviewed and clarifications on
unclear issues are obtained.
Ensure that all contractual / company and local authority requirements
for Quality, Health Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements are
complied with.
Ensure all necessary submission / approvals and supporting activities
needed for smooth and timely execution of construction works such as
Permanent Material, Shop Drawings, Subcontractors etc.
Preparation, submission, re-submissions of Method statements including
Risk assessment and job hazard analysis.
Ensure required inspection and tests are carried out, and completing
records of successful completion of works and approvals for hold and
witness points identified on the Inspection & Test Plan.
Ensure material and equipment are requisitioned on time in correct
Quantities.
Ensure Non-Conformance's if any are closed and taking timely preventive
and corrective actions, necessary liaison with QA/QC and HSE
department.
Responsible for completing of all Punch Items and Project Close Out,
Handover Documentation and finalization of all outstanding issues at
Handover.
